Race 26 – Position 15

Holdsworth opened Saturday at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit finishing P13 in Qualifying, narrowly missing the Top Ten Shootout.

Bright began the Race for the team but struggled with pace on a full tank of fuel, dropping to P16.

A Red Flag fell on Lap 23 and Bright was forced into a double stack and dropped to P22.

Bright climbed up to P19 before swapping with Holdsworth, who was able to climb into P16 in his final stint, eventually finishing P15 after taking over Le Brocq on the final lap.

“I THINK WE MADE GAINS ON THE CAR THIS WEEKEND, EVEN THOUGH WE COULDN’T GET THE RESULT TO RELEFECT THAT YESTERDAY I FEEL LIKE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN A SOLID TOP TEN. SHAME TO END THE WEEKEND LIKE THAT BUT THE CONDITIONS WERE TERRIBLE.” – LEE HOLDSWORTH

“THE CAR WAS BETTER TODAY IN THE RACE, WE HAD REASONABLE PACE THIS WEEKEND AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE WOULD HAVE FINISHED 7TH WHICH WAS GOOD, IT’S A SHAME IT DIDN’T GET CLASSIFIED. I THINK IT WAS AS GOOD ROUND FOR THE TEAM AND I THINK WE MADE VERY GOOD PROGRESS AND HAD A COMPETITIVE CAR THAT WAS AROUND THE TOP TEN.” – JASON BRIGHT
