Lee Holdsworth & Jason Bright are prepared to take on the Gold Coast 600 for the final round of the Enduro Cup.

2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship

Holdsworth is hoping to finish the final round of the Enduro Cup on a high as the Preston Hire Commodore returns to their 2018 Livery for the Queensland event.

The Gold Coast 600 will have two 300km Races, one Saturday and one Sunday, both with Top Ten Shootouts used to set the front of the gird.

“THE LAST ROUND OF THE ENDURO CUP IS AT ONE OF MY FAVOURITE EVENTS, THE GOLD COAST 600. GENERALLY THIS ROUND HAS BEEN A STRONG ONE FOR ME. IT WOULD BE A GREAT REWARD FOR US ALL TO FINISH WITH A RESULT.”

Co-Driver Jason Bright is also looking forward to the final Queensland event on the calendar and is hoping to display improvements made in the car since Sandown.

“I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THE GOLD COAST TRACK TO BE ONE OF THE MOST CHALLENGING ON THE CALENDAR WITH ITS FAST CHICANES AND HOW YOU NEED TO USE THE KERBS. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A STRONG SHOWING HERE THIS WEEKEND TO CONCLUDE OUR PIRTEK ENDURO CUP AS I DIDN’T FEEL LIKE WE GOT TO DEMONSTRATE THE IMPROVEMENTS WE HAD MADE AT BATHURST SINCE SANDOWN.”
